Adobe Premiere-Based Nonlinear Video Editing Products Fully Compatible

Pinnacle and PremiereMOUNTAIN VIEW, CA (Dec. 11, 2000) -- Pinnacle Systems, Inc. today announced the immediate availability of drivers for its DV200, DV500 and DC1000/2000 products, optimized for Adobe's new Premiere 6.0 software.

About DV500 and DC1000/2000 The award winning DV500 is a fully featured dual-stream, real-time editing system that uses a high quality DV CODEC. It features connectors for both analog and digital (DV/FireWire) inputs and outputs. DV500 runs on Windows 98, ME, NT and Windows 2000.

DC1000 enables users to create productions in real time with professional video editing results for videotape, CD-ROM, DVD and web streaming formats. It is a complete, frame accurate video editing solution using state-of-the-art real time dual stream MPEG-2 technology.

DC2000 is a broadcast-quality MPEG-2 video encoding and editing solution with real-time video editing. It features DV and Component Video I/O and supports both DVD compatible MPEG2 at ML/MP and professional quality MPEG2 at 4:2:2 profile.
