Demos Two New Editing Products
MUNICH -- FAST is now

marketplace. The new "purple." native DV editing solution made
its first appearance, with FASTstudio is the second key solution to be
featured in the FAST lineup.

Video Editing Appliance Released
CARLSBAD, CA -- Applied Magic is now shipping Sequel,
its entry-level video editing appliance designed to optimize video production
while eliminating long learning curve and system configuration hassles.
Matrox RTMac:
Spiro Plagaikis, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Matrox's Video
Products Group, discusses the RTMac, a real-time DV editing board for
the Macintosh platform that is tightly integrated with Final Cut Pro.
It provides dual-stream DV editing and real-time effects. RTMac provides
for analog video, real-time editing, uncompressed graphics and 2D and
3D effects. 
CANOPUS DVRex RT:
In this QuickTime streaming rich media clip, Jan Piros, Vice President
of Marketing for Canopus Corporation demonstrates the DVRex RT's ability
to offer a wide array of real-time editing features. Among the new real-time
video tools are moving titles, chroma and luma keying, complex transitions,
color correction, colorization and posterization as well as picture-in-picture
effects.
