Update fixes bugs for AE, Commotion, Combustion and Final Cut Pro

RE:Vision Twixtor logoSAN FRANCISCO (Feb. 14, 2001) -- RE:Vision Effects this week launched an update to its ReelSmart Twixtor plugin for Adobe After Effects, Discreet Combustion, Pinnacle Systems Commotion and Apple Final Cut Pro. Twixtor allows users to speed up, slow down and change the frame rate of image sequences. It synthesizes unique new frames by warping and interpolating frames from the original sequence.

Version 1.2 fixes a number of bugs that manifested themselves in various programs, including a fix to the algorithm that occasionally caused stuttering. For Combustion, it fixes a bug that caused the program to crash. For Commotion, it fixed one that resulted in inaccurate "out of memory" errors. And for Final Cut Pro, it fixes a bug that caused the program to report "verify filter parameters" errors.

Version 1.2 also includes more accurate tracking, according to RE:Vision. The company has also added several tutorials for various host applications on its Web site. Twixtor is available for Mac and Windows for $329.99. A demo is also available. For more information, visit revisionfx.com.
