is shipping a new, more powerful StreamGenie portable live Webcaster.
The new system offers superior video and audio quality with up to 1.6
GHz of real-time encoding power - a substantial increase over its predecessor.
Applications for StreamGenie include corporate communications, live
entertainment and sports, court depositions, usability focus groups,
e-learning and general Internet broadcasting.
The new version of StreamGenie includes several key performance and
feature improvements:

Microsoft Windows Media Audio and Video 7 support for exceptional video quality at all data rates, including ISO compliant MPEG-4 streaming

Support for RealVideo 8.5, which also includes improved audio fidelity

Ability to split incoming audio feeds to both Windows Media and RealNetworks formats simultaneously for bi-lingual audio transmission with common video (dual CPU version only)

Advanced cropping features as well as enhanced access and control of key streaming parameters and preprocessing filters
The new, improved
single- and dual-encode versions of StreamGenie are shipping now with
no price change. Existing registered customers may upgrade their software
to version 1.2 at no additional charge via FTP download from Pinnacle
Systems' StreamGenie support Web site. StreamGenie and StreamFactory
are available through Pinnacle Systems' global value-added reseller
channels and Webcasting service provider partners.
