NC (Jan. 26, 2001) -- The Cleveland County Arts Council and Cleveland Headline
News invite you to participate in the 2nd Annual "Real to Reel Film
& Video Festival" July 14-21, 2001. Filmmakers, video producers,
animators and digital/multimedia artists of all genres and skill levels
are encouraged to submit their work for this celebration of the visual art
form. Last year's festival drew entries from around the world. The festival
is currently accepting submissions. Deadline is May 15, 2001
The mission of the Real to Reel Film and Video Festival is to offer a forum for independent film, video and multimedia artists to showcase their talents and expose the works of these artists to the world. The event will offer a great opportunity for students, amateurs and professionals alike to exhibit their work and garner award-winning name recognition. Original formats can be shot on 8mm, 16mm, 35mm, all formats of video as well as all formats of digital and computer multimedia. However, all entries must be on VHS. Please do not send the master tapes. The Real to Reel Film and Video Festival offers 7 genres: Best Feature (over 60 mins) Non-Feature (up to 60 mins) Documentary, Animation, Short (15 mins max) Children's Oriented and Music Video in 3 categories: Professional, Student/Amateur (Over 18) and Student/Amateur (Under 18). TO ENTER: You can submit as many entries as you like, but you need to do the following for each entry: Send $30 entry fee for professionals, $25 for students/amateur (over 18) and $15 for students/amateurs (under 18).
